FREEDOM! !!!! Days 12,13

So I finally escaped the torture of my apartment and daytime TV and went to our family cottage to finish my recovery. I went back to work the following Monday (13 days after surgery for a total of 8 missed work days. I used my accumulated sick days pay (all of them!) so I actually didn't even lose out on any $$$$$. Of course that means I better stay damn healthy till January!


The bottom pic was taken on day 12. It is still very swollen but I still went out and partied! The bruises were Barely visible and well hidden wit only a little concealer. I was ready. I figured anyone who didn't know me would have just thought to themselves, Wow she has a really wide nose, which for me was an interesting change. I felt very confident that night and had a lot of fun.I actually felt like a different person in a way since the swelling made me look so alien like. The other pics were taken with my web cam on day 13 and are somewhat "veiled" by the dark exposure and the not so sharp image.


On the 13th day the bruises were almost invisible and actually looked more like a slightly sunburned cheeks more than bruises. The bruises never did turn yellow, just reddish to purple and then to pink.
